NexNode docs

Install, connect and run your first generation.

Install

NexNode is a normal Blender add-on, shipped as one ZIP.

Requirements

  • Blender 5.2 on Windows, macOS or Linux
  • An internet connection while a job runs
  • A free NexStudio account

Install from disk

  1. Download the ZIP. Do not unzip it.
  2. In Blender open Edit › Preferences › Add-ons.
  3. Open the menu at the top right and choose Install from disk.
  4. Pick the ZIP, then tick NexNode to enable it.

Check the download

Compare the result with the SHA-256 on the download page.

macOS / Linux
shasum -a 256 nexnode-1.4.2.zip
Windows PowerShell
Get-FileHash .\nexnode-1.4.2.zip -Algorithm SHA256

Update

Install the new ZIP the same way. Blender replaces the old version and you stay signed in.

Connect your account

Blender signs in with a short code you approve in your browser. Your password never enters Blender.

Sign in with a code

  1. In the 3D Viewport press N and open the NexNode tab.
  2. Press Sign in. Blender shows a code and opens your browser.
  3. Check that both codes match, then press Approve.
  4. Back in Blender, your balance appears in the panel.

If the browser does not open, visit this address and type the code:

Manage connected installs

Each Blender install gets its own token. See or revoke them on your dashboard.

Your first generation

Turn one photo into a textured model in your open scene.

  1. In the NexNode editor press Shift A and add Image Input.
  2. Load a clear photo of one object on a plain background.
  3. Add Generate 3D and connect the image to it.
  4. Check the quote on the node, then press Run.
The result is a normal Blender object. Edit it, export it, or feed it into the next node.

Credits and quotes

Every node that calls a provider shows its cost before you run it.

  1. Quote. The node shows the price for its current settings.
  2. Hold. Pressing Run holds that amount on your balance.
  3. Spend or return. Success spends the hold. A failure returns it.

Typical costs

Every operation is listed on the pricing page.

When a hold stays

If a provider cannot tell us whether a job ran, a person checks it. The hold is then spent or returned.

Troubleshooting

NexNode does not show up after install

Check that you run Blender 5.2 and installed the ZIP itself, not an unzipped folder.

The browser did not open on Sign in

Open nexstudio3d.com/device yourself and type the code from the panel.

My sign-in code expired

Codes last 10 minutes. Press Sign in again for a new one.

A job has been processing for a long time

Some providers take a few minutes. Your credits stay held, never spent, until the job ends.

Credits were held but no model arrived

Open History in your dashboard. A failed job returns its hold on its own. If not, contact support with the job id.
